At America’s Beauty Show 2023, the future starts NOW. 2023 marks the show’s 100th anniversary, so you know what that means…get ready for the party of the century with three days of education, entertainment, community and a celebration of what bonds us all…beauty!

Produced by the nonprofit Cosmetologists Chicago®, America's Beauty Show will once again welcome cosmetologists, nail technicians, stylists and colorists for the in-person event in Rosemont, Illinois. It is THE place for pros to connect to exchange ideas, network, attend pro classes and gain inspiration to take back to their salons!

The 2023 show is coming your way with hundreds of exhibits to shop, hours of free CEU education, three stages full of headliners, live entertainment and the return of the Global Image Awards!
 

Cosmetologists Chicago uses the funds raised through America’s Beauty Show to protect, build and drive the salon industry through advanced education and scholarships, plus monitor and lobby for professional licensure. Since 1912, Cosmetologists Chicago’s sole purpose in producing the show has been to serve the professional’s needs and move the industry forward through education funding, inspiration and good fellowship. Cosmetologists Chicago Officers and their Board of Directors are all working salon professionals who lead the efforts in ensuring the success of ABS for attendees and exhibitors.

Who can attend America's Beauty Show?

America’s Beauty Show is ONLY for licensed salon professionals and students, NOT the general public. Hairdressers, nail technicians, estheticians, salon owners, beauty school instructors and students, plus manufacturer and distributor personnel attend each year.

Who Exhibits at America's Beauty Show?

Hundreds of brands offer the latest in haircare and color, nails, skin care, mens/barbering, tools and salon furnishings. ABS’s  floor plan features stages placed strategically around the floor to better integrate with booths, as well as sectioned-off areas that focus on specific services (such as a designated make-up area, nail area, barbering area, black haircare and more). ABS has an amazing lineup of workshops for a variety of beauty industry subjects and levels of pro education. You can take classes to renew your license and continue to keep up with the latest trends and styles that you can take back to your clients immediately! WHAT ARE THE ABS GLOBAL IMAGE AWARDS?

The ABS Global Image Awards is an international hairdressing contest that celebrates the passion and artistry of professional and emerging stylists with an image and video competition. Participants from across the globe have the opportunity to enter (in professional or student categories) their fiercest hair collections and storytelling.

Join the ABS team on Saturday, April 15 to honor the work of the ABS Global Image Awards Finalists and Winners. The celebration begins with the ABS Global Image Award & President’s Party, then continues on to The Runway at ABS with an artistic presentation of THE NEXT trend release where you’ll see which talented artists will be going home with a trophy!
