Introducing LightPlex- our new bond lightening system with ProPlex Technology helps strengthen the hair from within and to reconstruct hair bonds, when used in combination with bond completion in-salon treatment.
Mixing Ratio:
1:1.5 up to 1:2 = 1 part Step 1 Lightener + 1.5 or 2 parts 6vol, 13vol, 20vol, 30vol, or 40vol (1.9%, 4%, 6%, 9% or 12%)
Formula:
A: Lightplex + 6% or 20 volume Developer (1:2) ratio
B: Lightplex + 4% or 13 volume Developer (1:4) ratio
C: Lightplex +1.9% or 6 volume Developer (1:4) ratio
Process:
Up to 50 minutes
Technique:
Each formula is applied to a specific problem area. The order of application is the key.
Step 1:
Formula A: Re-growth area (apply 1/2 inch away from the scalp and down to the line of demarcation)
Step 2:
Formula B: Apply to the brassy/reddish brown sections
Step 3:
Formula C: Apply to the off tone/yellow blonde ends
Apply Formula A to the scalp. (There are two different options for how and when to apply to the scalp. The methods are based on a variety of factors: density and texture of client’s hair, hair length, amount of color correction needed, and stylist’s experience and degree of control desired.)
The finished mannequin will be an even blonde from roots to ends.
Step 2 - Bond Completion In-Salon Treatment
1. Apply to hair when the desired result has been achieved, rinse out thoroughly with lukewarm water (DO NOT shampoo)
2. Towel dry and apply the Bond Completion In-Salon Treatment from roots to ends. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. If hair is extremely damaged, leave on for longer (max. 20 minutes) before rinsing. Shampoo the hair with Visible Repair Shampoo and neutralize with Visible Repair In-Salon Treatment.
