Facebook Live - Bold Color

Rainbow Fringe Technique Supply list:

• Wella Color Charm PAINTS shades: Strawberry, Orange, Yellow, Light Blue, Purple
• Tint brushes
• Balayage board
• Meche or foil
• Bobby pins
• Comb with wide teeth
• Alligator Clip

Rainbow Fringe Technique:

Pre-lighten hair using WCC Painting Balayage Lightener with 40 volume to lift the hair up to a level 9. Process for 30 minutes up to a level 9 blond tone.  Shampoo and condition. Style with a flat brush to maintain the full look.

Create a halfmoon, using meche or foil to cover the portion that will be highlighted and secure the sides with bobby pins. Take a fine section, tucking the top portion back secure with a hair clip. Apply Strawberry PAINTS generously at the root, followed by the Orange PAINTS color slightly overlapping Strawberry. Apply Yellow, Light Blue and Purple PAINTS the same way. Allow for another fine section to fall; follow the same sequence until all the bangs have been applied. Process for 20 minutes after last section is applied. Rinse (only) with cold water to help remove the color to prevent the color bleeding. Style as usual.

Freehand Painting Demo:

Divide the hair into 3 sections. Section 1: Tuck the crown away. Section 2: Horizontally temple to ear. Section 3: Start with a 1/2” section around the perimeter. Using a paddle or back of your hand, apply Painting on the hair making sure both sides are saturated. Take another vertical section to leave out and then take the 3rd section to apply Painting. Continue applying product on vertical alternating each section. Use a sweeping motion up each section to create a more natural look. 6 sections total; 3 on each side.

PAINTS can be applied on clean towel dried hair or dry hair to achieve maximum color.  Process up to 50 minutes between a level 8-9. Wash, rinse and towel dry, This is where you can get creative with any of the PAINTS shades! Using the same sections; pull out the previously highlighted hair and apply Raspberry PAINTS. Take each section alternating application of Raspberry, Mulberry and Pink PAINTS shades or any other shades of preference.  Process for 20 minutes. Rinse (only) with cold water to help remove the color to prevent the color bleeding. Style as usual.
