PAINTS - California Sunset Technique

featuring Wella

Vibrant hues of pink, yellow and orange set the sky ablaze in a way only a California sunset can. This Wella PAINTS technique uses the perfect color combination for those wanting to capture the brilliance of a summer sky at dusk.

Starting Color: Pre-lightened to lightest blonde
Lightener: Wella colorcharm powder lightener
Developer for Lightener: 20 or 40 volume
Wella colorcharm PAINTS:

• Light Pink
• Yellow 
• Orange
• Fuchsia
• Mauve (50%) + Clear Pastelizer (50%)

Step one: section off an oval shape on top of head.
Step two: starting at the front hair line, use a balayage technique and apply lightener.
Step three: section an upside-down V under the occipital bone and apply lightener to whole section.

After processing pre-lightener, rinse, shampoo and condition. Then proceed with Wella colorcharm PAINTS on the lightened sections.

Develop for 20 minutes and rinse until water runs clear. 

Color will slowly fade beautifully on tone, lasting up to 20 washes, depending on the shade and intensity.
