Meet Kelsey Littleton - a passionate and business-savvy stylist from Verve Beauty Bar in Prattville, Alabama. Whether she’s behind the chair, on the road or educating online, this styling specialist is all about giving back to an industry she loves. Read her interview with Marlo Beauty Supply below!

Marlo Beauty: Tell us a little bit about yourself and your areas of expertise behind the chair!
Kelsey: My areas of expertise lie in blonding and extension services. When I was in hair school, I quickly realized blonding services and color correcting were the most challenging. I made myself a promise to do my best to master this art and to never get comfortable. I continue to learn just as much as I educate. The industry is always changing and techniques evolve on the daily. Using the best tools behind the chair helps you execute those services to deliver the best experience your client can have! 

Marlo Beauty: What’s your favorite part about being in the beauty industry?  
Kelsey: I enjoy educating passionate stylists looking to grow their business and knowledge on all things behind the chair. I return my support to this industry by brand affiliation, creating UGC and content marketing by sharing all my favorite tips and tricks I’ve learned through the years. I love showing other stylists how to monetize and grow via social media. I am so grateful to be able to partner with some amazing brands and educate others during the process.

My career is my passion, I have been in the industry for 10 years now. This industry is so fulfilling and I definitely have found my calling behind the chair. Being able to travel and meet new people is fulfilling beyond measure.

Marlo Beauty: It looks like you’ve done some cool hair and makeup work outside of the salon. Tell us about that!
Kelsey: When I’m not at the salon, you can find me on the road and behind the scenes with WE tv as a hair and makeup artist with AMC Networks. You can catch me behind the scenes on this season’s Mama June: Family Crisis!
