Caramel Ice Blonde

This dimensional blonde features bright pops of icy platinum nestled amongst warm, autumn-inspired tones.

Formula A: Rusk in 10 10S Ultra-Light Sand Blonde + 40 Volume developer
Formula B: Rusk Deepshine Ultimate Blonde Blue Powder Lightener + 40 Volume developer
Formula C: Rusk Deepshine Gloss 9A Very Light Ash Blonde + 8S Light Sand Blonde + Clear

1. Alternate Formulas A and B using a full foilyage technique. Process for 30 minutes.
2. Shampoo with Rusk Sensories Pure Shampoo.
3. Tone using Formula C. Pro tip: add Clear to dilute for translucency and to achieve tonality without deeper levels. Process for 15 minutes.
4. Shampoo and condition with Rusk Sensories Pure Shampoo and Conditioner.  

 

Dimensional Metallic Red

Formula A: Rusk in 10 6C Dark Copper Blonde + Rusk in 10 5N Light Natural Brown + Rusk Deepshine Zero Lift Balancing Lotion
Formula B: Rusk Deepshine Blonde Gentle Lightening Cream + 20 Volume developer
Formula C: Rusk Deepshine Gloss equal parts 5C Light Copper Brown + 6CG Dark Copper Golden Blonde + 2 capfuls Deepshine Gloss 6R Dark Red Blonde + Zero Lift Balancing Lotion

1. Apply Formula A to regrowth for a root shadow. Process for 10 minutes.
2. Foilyage with Formula B, starting with the money piece in the front and using diagonal sections in the back. Process for 30 minutes.
3. Apply Formula C at the bowl on damp hair, and process for 15 minutes.
4. Shampoo and condition with Rusk Pomegranate Color Protecting Shampoo and Conditioner.

 

Apple Cider Spice Brunette

Rusk in 10 was used to cover this model’s gray, while gorgeous, warm highlights were added for a seasonal twist.

Starting level: 5 with 40% gray

Formula A: Rusk in 10 5NN Light Intense Natural Brown + 20 Volume developer
Formula B: Rusk Deepshine Gloss 6S Dark Sand Blonde + 6CG Dark Copper Golden Blonde

1. Apply Formula A to regrowth, then immediately apply Formula B from midshaft to ends.
2. Process for 20 minutes.
3. Shampoo and condition with Rusk Sensories Pure Shampoo and Conditioner.

 

Sand Blonde Rosé

Jess brightened up this Level 7 blonde - blending light, sandy tones with blush halos for a vibrant, ‘90s-inspired fall look.

Starting level: 7 with pre-existing partial foil and silver ends

Formula A: Rusk in 10 10S Ultra-Light Sand Blonde + 40 Volume developer
Formula B: Rusk Deepshine Blonde Gentle Lightening Cream + 20 Volume developer
Formula C: Rusk Deepshine Gloss 9A Very Light Ash Blonde + 5M Light Mahogany Brown
Formula D: Rusk Deepshine Gloss 9P Silver + 7P Slate

1. Apply Formula A to the base, and process for 10 minutes. Shampoo with Rusk Pomegranate Color Protecting Shampoo and rough-dry.
2. Do a full highlight with Formula B, making sure to feather the color up at the top, and process for 30 minutes.
3. Rinse, shampoo with Rusk Pomegranate Color Protecting Shampoo and rough-dry.
4. Section in a star-shaped pattern. Starting in the front, work your way around the head, alternating slices of Formulas C and D.
5. Process for 20 minutes, then shampoo and condition with Rusk Pomegranate Color Protecting Shampoo and Conditioner.

 

Copper on Copper 

A head-turning copper tone with bright copper highlights and a side part money piece make this the ultimate fall formula.

Natural Level: 2/3

Formula A (base): Rusk Deepshine Pure Pigments Conditioning Cream Color 7.44C Intense Copper Blonde + Rusk Deepshine Pure Pigments Conditioning Cream Color 7A Medium Ash Blonde + 40 Volume developer
Formula B (lowlight): Rusk Deepshine Pure Pigments Conditioning Cream Color 8.8CH Light Caramel Blonde (1/4) + 9.34GC Very Light Golden Copper (3/4) + 40 Volume developer
Formula C (highlight): Rusk Deepshine Blonde Gentle Lightening Cream + 40 Volume developer
Formula D: Rusk Deepshine Pure Pigments Conditioning Cream Color 7.44C Intense Copper Blonde + 40 Volume developer
Formula E: Rusk Deepshine Gloss 9CG Very Light Copper Golden Blonde + 5M Light Mahogany Brown + Rusk Deepshine Zero Lift Balancing Lotion

1. Apply Formula A to the regrowth area.
2. Apply Formula B in horizontal foils using a thick, 3-point weave technique.
3. Apply Formula C using the same 3-point technique.
4. After highlighting and lowlighting, go back and apply Formula D to all remaining hair.
5. Process for a total of 30 minutes.
6. Shampoo with Rusk Pomegranate Color Protecting Shampoo and towel-dry.
7. Tone with Formula E, and process with a cap under heat for 15 minutes, cooling for 5 minutes, to give it the best longevity and shine. You can also tone at the back bar for 15 minutes.
8. Shampoo using Rusk Pomegranate Color Protecting Shampoo and Conditioner.
9. On damp hair, apply Rusk Designer Collection Thermal Shining Sheen and Movement Myst and Rusk Designer Collection Jele Gloss to create beautiful, controlled curls. Finger twist and diffuse using the Rusk Pro Speed Titanium Professional Professional Dryer.
