How To Use Hair Rollers: The Roller Blowoutfeaturing Fromm
The megavolume of the ‘90s is hotter than ever. Your clients are requesting bouncy blowouts on the regular, and they value your insight on how to create the look at home. Stylist Natalia Dias’ go-to tools for a bouncy blowout? A round brush and Fromm’s ProVolume Rollers - now available in 8 sizes, so you can give clients of all hair types and lengths the megavolume they want.
Below, Natalia breaks down her process for how she achieves the long-lasting and ultra voluminous waves her clients are loving!
Step 1: Create Your Sections
Section the hair in six parts: mohawk, left side, right side and three vertical sections on the back of the head.
Step 2: Blow Dry
With a round brush, start blow-drying each section of the hair, creating volume at the roots. Make sure the hair is completely dry.
Step 3: Get Rolling!
Natalia recommends mixing and matching different sizes! Here, she used the 1.75” and 2.5” Fromm ProVolume Ceramic Hair Rollers. Natalia starts with the front sections. For the hair closest to the hair line, she places the rollers toward the face. Follow up with the next roller away from the face.
Pro tip: Have the client tilt their head down to get closer to the roots.
Once you have placed the rollers throughout the head, let the hair cool for about 10 minutes.
Step 4: Remove & Smooth
Gently remove the ProVolume rollers. Twist the hair strand at the end to ensure a polished look. Brush only after ALL rollers have been completely removed.
Using these tips from Natalia and products from Fromm you’ll have everything you need to make big impressions on your clients…and even bigger blowouts! You can always find the best prices on a wide selection of Fromm products at Marlo Beauty Supply. We can’t wait to see what you create with them!
