HOW TO USE caronlab's AQUAGEL SUGARING PASTE
1. Warming the Paste
To soften the sugaring paste, place in the Caronlab Pro Wax Heater on a low-medium temperature for up to 30 min. Then, reduce to a low temperature to maintain warmth without overheating.
Pro Tip! Sugar can never burn your client! In fact, the warmer is only used to achieve the perfect sticky consistency of the sugar paste for easy application.
2. Prep the Skin
Start by cleansing the area with the Caronlab Pre-Wax Skin Cleanser, a gentle, alcohol-free formula that removes oils, lotions and impurities without irritating the skin.
Once the skin is clean and dry, apply a light dusting of drying powder to create the perfect matte surface. This allows the sugar paste to grip the hair instead of the skin, which helps reduce redness and improve overall results. Good prep sets the stage for a more comfortable and efficient sugaring experience!
3. Application Process
When collecting the sugaring paste, scoop from the center of the container to avoid touching the sides. Once it's in your hand, keep the paste on your fingertips by gently moving it in a circular motion to prevent it from sticking to unwanted areas.
While keeping the paste in a ball on your fingertips, apply it to the skin and press it into the hair against the direction of growth. As you mold, the paste adheres to the hair and seeps into the hair follicle. Repeat this process about three times!
Pro Tip! Only warm the sugaring paste enough to remove it from the container. Your body temperature and that of your client can also affect the consistency of your Aquagel® and the sugaring service. Drying powder or a mist of water can help readjust the Aquagel to the correct consistency.
4. Removal Process
When you're ready to remove the paste, use a controlled flicking motion in the direction of hair growth to lift the sugar paste and remove hair from the root. Keep your movements quick and close to the skin to minimize discomfort and ensure clean hair removal. Hello smooth, happy skin!
